The LIB tried from
the beginning to self finance its activities:
1* LIB participated
actively in the local fairs to sell its bamboo and woolen products.
2* LIB held its own
fairs to sell its products.
3* LIB blind
members gave music and computer lessons to sighted persons and
earned fees.
4* LIB organised
and held charity parties.
5* Grants and
donations.
Yet, despite all
the efforts put behind the support of LIB, the financial campaigns
were insufficient to cover the growing needs and expenses of the
institution given that all the services the institution offers,
are free of charge.
To be noted that
LIB did not receive yet any support from the Lebanese government.
