One
of the pressing projects which is considered to be very crucial
for the LIB future and which will enable the institution to face its
responsibilities and hopes, is the creation of a permanent base which will hold all the institution’s
divisions in one place instead of
them being distributed on different apartments and locations.
A
permanent base to include a playing ground, a hall for sports
activities, an exhibition hall, the different departments and divisions, the workshops, rooms
for teaching the “Braille” and the computer, an infirmary and nursery.
The
nursery is considered important as it will cover a service
section that was not covered before and this division is expected to prepare the parents and the
children, new born and up till the age of 3 and to rehabilitate children from 3 to 6 years of age.
The
monthly cost for the kindergarten:

Specialists in family training and in teaching the blind x 2 at
US$ 2400

Rent of the premises comprising rooms and garden at US$ 900

Water, electricity, phone and cleaning expenses at US$ 600

Stationery US$ 300
Contributions
to this project have started in amounts decided by the
